Facebook Busts Myth Of Blocking Mark Zuckerberg

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg became a target of bloggers and media when 'block Zuck' posted that you can't block the CEO.
It left many calling for some transparency by Facebook as the company is reportedly treating users and founder differently.
The case seems to be quite different. Facebook spokesperson told Katonda that "This error isn't specific to any one account. It's generated when a person has been blocked a certain large number of times. In very rare instances, a viral campaign will develop instructing lots of people to all wrongly block the same person. The purpose of this system is to protect the experience for people targeted by these campaigns. We're constantly working to improve our systems and are taking a closer look at this one."
It is obvious with sites like block Zuck and reports like these, there would be a surge of people testing, out of curiosity, to block Mark. That's when this 'system' comes into action to protect any user from such 'spam' blocking.
It seems Mark is not a special case. The system might come to protect you as well, but first you need to find a lot of people to block you.
