Apple's Secret Of Making Money: Magic Trackpad

The latest overblown product coming out of Apple stable is 'Magic Trackpad' which I guess will revolutionize the way people use the mouse. I missed the lines where Apple said, 'we invented the 'Trackpad'.
 
So, what is this trackpad? What alien technology does it use?
 
Have you ever seen a laptop? No, I am not talking about the latest one, even if you have something from late 80s will do. Now, carefully look at the section where a keyboard is situated. There you will find a 2x3 inch rectangular space. If you move your fingers on that space, it will 'magically' move the cursor. This is called trackpad.
 

Now, if your company can afford the smartest CEO in the world, you will be able to make money from almost every piece of hardware on this laptop – even from screws and hinges!

This is what Apple has done, they simply removed this trackpad and started selling it as a separate magical device for $70. Something which could have been part of the keyboard thus enabling users to work better has been converted into another money making device.
 
Multi-touch trackpad is neither a new concept nor a new product. It has been available on laptops and integrated within keyboard for years now.
 
Apple gave a weird idea to the tailor in my block. After looking at the Magic Trackpad he said, "I will now remove the shirt pocket and sell it separately as a Magic Bag!"
