Meffys are recognized as the official benchmark for measuring success and rewarding innovation in the mobile entertainment industry. Commenting on this recognition, Kedar Sohoni, President, Informate Mobile Intelligence said, “We are excited for receiving the nomination for the second consecutive year and being recognized for our efforts to meter the mobile platform. We will continue to develop and deliver the best possible research services and showcase ourselves at international platforms like the Meffys.”

Rimma Perelmuter, Executive Director of MEF, said: “From the meteoric rise of apps-inspired vendors and content owners in driving consumer engagement to the remarkable growth achieved in emerging markets and the evolution of transparent, user-friendly business models, the 2010 entries provide a window to all the latest trends and innovations. More than ever, the Meffys reflect the increasing importance of mobile as a key engagement and entertainment channel for consumers.”

As the industry's official benchmark for measuring success and rewarding innovation, the Meffys, now in their seventh year, recognize and honor the most influential mobile media players from around the world. This year, Meffys received entries covering 60+ countries which were judged by 45 journalists and analysts. Building on last year's sold-out gala event, the organization is expecting 400+ international industry leaders and press to attend the Meffys gala dinner on 21 June in London this year.
