Get Blackberry Torch For $99

There is good new and bad news. Bad news first. No, RIM has not cut the prices of its latest smartphone BlackBerry Torch 9800. The phone is being sold by AT&T for $199.99.
 
Now, good news. Yes, you can get a Torch for as less as $99. Amazon is offering a rebate of $550 on this smart phone.

Computerworld created quit a stir and confusion when it reported Amazon.com's Torch 9800 prices which lead to believ that RIM has dropped the prices of Torch.
 
It is yet not known how Amazon managed such a heavy price cut or almost 85%. Certainly a negotiated deal with RIM.

Keep it up Amazon. I would go for a $99 Droid X.
