Apple Announces New iMacs
The due iMac update has arrived. The new line of iMacs are powered by Intel's Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors. ATI Radeon HD 5750 has been included in the new line of Macs.
The new iMacs showcase dual-core processor speeds up to 3.6 GHz and quad-core speeds up to 2.93. The product line also include the new Magic Trackpad at an additional cost of $69. The Trackpad allows Multi-Touch gestures on the iMacs.
These iMacs come with Mac OS X Snow Leopard (a BSD based operating system) and and iLife Apple's own suite of applications for photos, movies and music.
Snow Leopard builds on top of free-software and Open Source technologies like BSD with Apple's own refinements.
The new iMac line is shipping now and available through the Apple Store, Appleās retail stores and Apple Authorized Resellers.
